SIEGE (Southern Interactive Entertainment and Games Expo) is the largest video game industry conference in the South. Produced by Georgia Game Developers Association, SIEGE’s speakers are leading figures in game development including artists, programmers, designers, writers, teachers and business executives. Special events include keynote speeches, dynamic panels, a mini-incubator, parties, networking events, and a student fair for high school students and others looking for colleges. Way Down Film Festival

Way Down Film Festival launched in 2016 at the beautiful, historic Springer Opera House Theater to showcase over 30 short films and celebrate the most innovative voices in narrative, animation, documentary, and experimental categories from all over the world. The festival sold out of VIP tickets, was voted one of the top 100 festivals in the world on Film Freeway. Apply online to volunteer.

Atlanta Horror Film Festival

Atlanta Horror Film Festival (AHFF) celebrates the art of horror by presenting award-winning films in the genre from all over the world. Since 2006, the festival has been a favorite of filmmakers and fans from Atlanta and beyond. The 2018 AHFF festival will be a celebration of their 12 seasons, and a huge party is already being planned! SCAD Savannah Film Festival

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) presents the annual Savannah Film Festival filled with cinematic creativity from both award-winning professionals and emerging student filmmakers. Each year, more than 50,000 people attend the eight-day Savannah Film Festival. Rome International Film Festival
November 1 – 4, 2018
Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) is northwest Georgia’s signature film festival event. Named as one of MovieMaker Magazine’s “top 20 festivals worth the submission fee,” RIFF features two full days of screenings, parties and professional networking and development opportunities. Rome’s historic DeSoto Theatre serves as the central venue for the festival. Built in 1927, the DeSoto was the first cinema in the Southeastern United States to screen sound films. ASIFA-South Animation Conference

ASIFA-South Animation Conference is a two-day long festival of animation screenings and panels by professional animators in the industry. This year marks the 23nd anniversary of ASIFA-South, the Southern chapter of ASIFA International (Association Internationale du Film d’Animation).
